Train ride to Tiffany Bottoms near Nelson, WI. - May 18, 2019

Calling all hikers, nature lovers, and bird watchers! Join us for a 5-mile open-air train ride through prairie lands and forests. We will have 2 or more hiking and sightseeing stops, with our guide giving us information on the Tiffany Bottoms and the railroad history. Plan on bringing outdoor apparel and accessories. Food can be brought on the train but no alcohol. Water and snack bars will be provided on the bus and train. There are bathroom facilities available.

After the train ride we will go to the Stone Barn for wood-fired pizza in the countryside nearby. They offer 7 varieties of pizza or build your own. Pizzas are 16" and can serve 2-3 people. Beer, wine and cocktails are available as well as ice cream from the Chocolate Shoppe in Madison, WI. There is also a gift shop on site. Food/drink purchases are on your own.

Cost is $25 per person and includes bus, train ride, water and snack bars. This event is open to IBM Alumni Club members and their guests. The train ride will run from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Click here for printable registration form.

NOTE: Deadline to register is May 9, 2019.

The bus will leave the Gander Mountain parking lot at 11:30 a.m. We plan to be back at Gander Mountain at 8:00 p.m. In the past, people have brought treats to share and this has been very popular. Feel free to bring treats for yourself or to share.
